Hanako Yamanoue (山野上 花子, Yamanoue Hanako) is a character from Act-Age manga series. She is a director, writer, and the original author of the "Princess Iron Fan" stage play.

Appearance[]

Hanako has long light-colored hair and eyes.

In her initial appearance, she wore a semi-dark skull cap, a light-colored jacket, dark pants, and shoes.

Personality[]

Hanako presents herself as a blunt and stoical person, however, she very creative and has a unique perspective on life.

Plot[]

When Kei climbs to the top of a mountain in preparation for her newest role, she runs into Hanako. She nearly kills Kei after she clumsy trips and falls making Kei fall-backward off a cliff, but at the last minute, she’s rescued by Hanako.

Etymology[]

  • The name Hanako means "flower, blossom" (花) (hana) and "child" (子) (ko).
  • Hanako's surname Yamanoue means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama), "field, wilderness" (野) (no) and "above, top, upper" (上) (ue).
